Managing your Profile

This sections deals with your user profile which is the main control panel for your personal database pages.

To manage your profile you need to login to the database and click the link Manage Profile in the page header.

The Profile Page

The profile page is the main page other users see about you. To visitors it looks almost the same as to you, of course the management and administration links are missing.

The left half of your page is filled with your Characters, Pets, Lists and Guilds. In the beginning it will look rather empty, but you can fill it easily, please read the corresponding help entries about it.

In the top right part you see your user profile. It displays your name, country, avatar and some other information.

Below the user information, there is the section called Manage Profile. It contains the buttons to create new characters, lists and a guild that will be shown on your profile later. You can also edit your settings there. The settings mostly effect the forum usage, but also some parts of the database.

Below that, there are sections to add a guest book entry to your profile page. Read more about the guest book system here.

Then there is your friend list. You can add other users to that list to have quick access to their profiles. They have to confirm the friendship first, though. Read more about it below in this section.

In the bottom part of your profile, there is your guestbook. It displays the last three comments on your profile, you can use the links below to add a comment or view all commands.

Friend List

The friendlist allows you to create a connection between multiple users to get quicker access to each other's profiles.

When viewin an other person's profile, there will be a link below the friend list called Add (username) to your friendlist. Clicking there sends a friend request to the other person. The user will also be notified about the request via email.

Once a friendlist is accepted, a link to each other's profile will be shown on the user profile.

On your own profile page you can manage your friendlist via the link below the friend list.

The friendlist control panel allows you to view all requests you send to others and cancel them.

You can also accept other users' requests there or delete users from your current friendlist.
