[Rappelz] Epic VI: Resurrection announced for Feb 24! Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Post Report Post to a Moderator       IP Information Go to the top of this page

Rappelz Epic VI: Resurrection has been announced for launch on the US servers on February 24.

The 6th Epic's storyline sees the resurrection of the mysterious and evil Witch. The story started in the Epic VI prologue, Navislamia, will be continued by this new installment.

But the most important addition for players will probably be the new Death Match Zone. It is set on a magical island to where everyone can teleport at any time. Players loose all their outside buffs upon arrival, but will profit from the island's magical plants, which may resurrect the fallen, heal the wounded, and can even buff you with additional powers.

Of course, this Epic also has to bring some new pets. The Unicorn, Nightmare and Ifrit will make their first appearance with completely new magical powers.
But we also get new decorative pets, for which many have pleaded before: The Kukuri and Tamias are now available as well to follow you around and pick up your loot.

Rank 7 Item Sets will see an improvement in additional set items. A completed set can now grant you unique effects and abilities.

Quests will become more sophisticated as well, with there being new options for them, like time limits. We will also see quests started by finding certain items or exploring a new region.

The Character creation and Customization will also receive more options, like optional facial marks or tattoos.

Along with all those changes come some minor UI changes (especially in the Quest dialogue and Character creation), as well as some rebalancing of Dungeon monsters' experience, difficulty and drop rate.

You can check out all the details of this new Epic on gPotato's Epic 6: Resurrection preview page.
